Wicker Park

It’s not often that I see a movie, even one that I really like, and want to see it all over again immediately but “Wicker Park” is one of them. I just happened to get lucky and caught it by accident on TV. When I say by accident, I was channel surfing and saw this movie coming up and when I read the description I said to myself, “maybe so??”  I had to stay with it a while but soon discovered it was very much worth it. I recommend it for sure but it is not one to watch while there are a lot of disturbances. It is a real quiet time film because if you miss any little part you will miss some or maybe all of the total meaning of the plot.

In short, it is a story of love inexplicably lost. In Chicago, the former photographer and presently advertising executive Mathew (Josh Hartnett) is closing a business deal in a fancy restaurant with a Chinese representative, when he sees a woman that looks like his former passion Lisa (Diane Kruger). Will love be found again? Have to watch the movie. Here is the official site: Wicker Park.

The cast is wonderful and talented with Josh Hartnett, Diane Kruger, Matthew Lillard and Jessica Pare cast as the main actors.

So, thus ends my first little mini movie review.

Oh, and by the way speaking of things Hollywood, I just learned that more people left California than any other state in 2008. Should we wonder why? If you are interested here is a link.
