Nothing is going to happen. These congressmen are probably out trolling for campaign contributions again that’s all that is going on. They will find out that the contracts must be paid, the bonus collectors will make sincere sounding apologies and swear to never do it again, some of them will make contributions to left wing political causes, then someone will quietly slip campaign contributions to the right people, the press will forget about it after AIG makes big media advertising buys and it will all be a happy world again. Haven’t we figured out the script by now??

Obama and his minions are so deep into the corruption at AIG that no one will even print the truth. Why is AIG paying such huge bonuses to people who have already left the orginization? Why is Barney Frank and his crooked buddy Cris Dodd denying they had anything to do with legislation that let the bonuses pass through? It is deny, deny, lie and lie. With the primo tax cheat as the Sec of the Treasury what more can we expect. Now I see that Freddie Mac is going to give 611 million dollars as bonus money. Didn’t they go broke? I guess Barney needs more money.
I think you are right. Looks like Freddie and Fannie will be next under the spotlight. Have you watched Dodd’s contortions the last few days? According to the Associated Press in an article filed a little over an hour ago he is now blaming the administration for making him “dilute the executive pay provision that would have applied retroactively to recipients of federal aid”. Fun and games in DC alright.

My brother went to school with Barney and he was one mean, sadistic, vindictive upperclassman.
My brother and all were scared of him. The smart ones kept out of his way.
Anyway I really like the format of your blog, I use blogspot as I need pictures more than text, but this sure is nice.

Jane thanks for the compliment. You are in the CSS class! I am picking up a bunch of stuff there. As far as wordpress goes, the more i use it the better I like it. I am working on Joomla now. And yeah, Barney is a real winner alright!
I sure am learning a lot here, I never did much computer stuff till recently. Finding the classes was great for me, keeps me busy in retirement when the weather is bad.
Interesting how one of our daughters uses her blog, the whole family was in Singapore for January and to communicate with all of us here at home, they uploaded pictures and text at least once or twice a day to her blog.
Thus the family at home, could see almost a real-time picture book of what they and the grandkids were doing.
Singapore is entirely wireless which makes things a piece of cake. They were there during the big Volvo ocean racing event, whew what amazing pictures.
I’m glad I have figured out blogging, now I have to start to add pictures. I do have 2 older blogspot ones, thats fun too.
