Air Museum in Liberal Kansas

We had a great visit to a place that we have been wanting to visit for a long time and that was the Air Museum in Liberal, Kansas. They have a BUNCH of aircraft in there and the exhibit is well done. If you are a Corsair fan there is a wonderful example of that aircraft there as well as a 3/4 size P-51 Mustang. For WWII  fans they have a great example of a Mitchell B-25. There are lots of experimental and home built craft there as well, many powered by Volkswagen engines. The majority of the jet aircraft are outside but several are on display inside as well. Helicopter fans will find some good displays and they have a hot air balloon that kids will find interesting because it can be inflated right there inside the building.

The museum is easy to find. Just go north on Western and turn left at the high school. Fun time for all!
