The Rail Runner mass transit system set a daily record Saturday when (as reported in the Albuquerque Journal) it transported over 12,000 people in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area. Bill Richardson Will No Longer Be Commerce Secretary

Looks like our governor, Bill Richardson, has withdrawn his name as Obama’s nominee for Commerce Secretary. It all has to do with the ongoing federal investigation into how some of his political donors won a lucrative state contract.
