Santa Rosa May 23rd, 24th and 25th
Santa Rosa Days – Annual Santa Rosa Days Celebration and Memorial Day Softball Tournament hosts over 60 Teams at the new Santa Rosa Complex. Food and Concession Booths, Contests for Kids, Pony Rides, Kids Jumps, Rock Climbing, Live Entertainment, Arts and Crafts. Sign up for Softball Tournament and Beach Volleyball Tournament. Ruidoso May – 23rd & 24th
Ruidoso Valley Noon Lions Gun & Collectible Show at the Convention Center.

September 4, 5, and 6th are the dates.

Some of the acts featured are Bobby Vee, Chris Montez, Johnny Preston, the Chiffons, Tommy Allsup & Kevin Montgomery, and Sting Ray & The Killer Vees with the Ritchie Valens Tribute Show.

There may be others that I am not aware of but that is a pretty good run down of the activities in the various Pueblos in New Mexico. Zuni has Shalako Dances but I am unaware of the date.

Remember some common courtesy things when in any Pueblo. Don’t take pictures, don’t drink and don’t bring alcohol or drugs with you. If invited to eat at someone’s house be polite, eat and get up from the table so others can eat. Don’t offer to pay for the meal. Don’t bother any of the possessions in the house. Thank you always works. Dress warmly as it can be quite cold. Here is a better list of do’s and dont’s.
